When you start a new project and place an image or video file to the Timeline you'll be asked if you'd like to keep the aspect ratio of the file for the whole project. In everyday life you will not need all the theoretical knowledge on the aspect ration and its details. You can read more detailed information on the aspect ratio here. The aspect ratio of an image is its displayed width divided by its height (usually expressed as "x:y"). You have done a good job! Now you can upload your resulting movie to YouTube, Facebook, or any other service and share your creative work with others.Before starting work at your project you can set the aspect ratio used for your output video. Then you can save the current project, as well as the edited video file into one of the supported formats. If you are completely satisfied with the result, click the OK button to accept all the changes and close the Video Effects window. Please, press the button within the Preview Area of the same window to start playback. Now you can preview your video with the applied effect to make sure you got the necessary result.
